Mimosa (Wattle) Vegetable Extracts
MIMOSA SOLID
A natural mimosa extract, low in salts, insolubles and sludge formation. Easily soluble in water and used in pit tannages but can be crushed or dissolved and also used in drums.
MIMOSA ME/OP
A natural mimosa extract, low in salts, insolubles and sludge formation. Suitable for veg tanned leathers – sole/strap and case – and chrome-retan leathers.
MIMOSA MS
A light coloured mimosa extract. Low in salts and gives good filling properties. Suitable for veg tanning where light coloured leather is required.
MIMOSA GS
A very light coloured mimosa extract. Suitable for veg tanning and retanning where a pale colour is required.
MIMOSA GOLDEN
Specially treated mimosa extract giving a golden colour to veg tanned leather.
MIMOSA FS
A very light coloured mimosa extract also modified to reduce astringency. Gives rapid penetration with improved light fastness.
MIMOSA RG
A light coloured resinified mimosa extract. Gives better filling and improved yield for sole leather.
MIMOSA DK
A dark coloured mimosa extract. Low in salts and gives a good filling properties for veg tanning where dark coloured leather is required.
MIMOSA WS
A very light coloured mimosa extract modified to reduce astringency to a minimum. Good penetrating agent and gives grain protection for subsequent veg tanning.
MIMOSA CR
A completely soluble combination of mimosa extract and chrome, ideal for waterproofing processes and for retannages requiring fullness and softness. Leather has good light fastness.
MIMOSA RN
A natural coloured resinified mimosa extract. Suitable for veg tanning and retanning with better filling.
